Knowledge about market price trends and factors affecting the procurement strategy.
Knowledge of vendor development, vendor management and evaluation.
Supervise and guide team members for deadline and targets.
Ensure the project procurement within the project budgets.
Co-ordinate all functions to ensure good liaison and co-operation between internal departments and external clients to ensure priorities are achieved within schedule
Knowledge about Taxes & duties, INCOTERMS, EXIM, Letter of Credit.
Able to work independently and be able to visualize the entire project and prioritize, short, medium and longer range tasks for multiple team members.
Expediting for receipt of offers from bidders and reviewing quotations received from bidders for completeness, gathering missing information & documents required for commercial bid evaluation.
Coordination with vendor and Engineering team to resolve pre bid technical queries.
Preparation of recommendation letter for PO award process
Strategic sourcing for Capex, OpEx, Bulk material & Services.
Negotiation with Vendor for better terms and price.
