Major Project: Electron Optics Design and Simulation for Sub Terahertz TWT. During my academic tenure, I conducted comprehensive studies on various aspects of travelling wave tubes (TWTs), with a particular focus on slow wave structures for Sub-THz TWT applications. My research encompassed a thorough investigation into different types of electron sources, including the pierce electron source.
I undertook detailed analyses of the pierce electron source, leading to its comprehensive design. Additionally, I delved into the study of electron beam focusing, conducting thorough analyses and subsequently designing effective electron beam focusing systems. Furthermore, my research extended to in-depth exploration and software implementation of electron optics tailored for TWTs, with subsequent validation of these software models to ensure accuracy and reliability.

Major project: Implementation of PLL on TMS320F2812 DSP. Throughout my academic journey, I dedicated significant time to researching phase lock loops (PLLs), extensively studying their theory and practical applications. This involved a detailed exploration of Matlab Simulink as a tool for modeling and simulating PLL circuits.
I conducted thorough simulations and analyses of PLL behavior, refining my understanding of their operation and performance characteristics. Moreover, I embarked on a study of various digital signal processor (DSP) platforms, carefully selecting the most suitable processors for PLL implementation. In a real-world application context, I engaged in the development and code generation of PLL algorithms tailored for use in India, particularly for automatic transmission on the main power grid.
