Throughout my 23-year career, I have engaged with students at various grade levels in diverse roles. I began my journey as a supervisor for the early years' dorms, which provided me with my initial leadership experience. Alongside my wife, I co-supervised the upper and middle school girls' dormitories and served as a dorm parent for the upper years boys' dorm.
As a PHE teacher, I have accumulated 13 years of teaching experience. Additionally, I have coached senior boys in soccer, cricket, and cross-country teams. I also fulfilled the role of campus safety officer, overseeing emergency preparedness and planning for the school.
Prior to my teaching career, I worked for five years in a reputable hospitality enterprise as a guest relations manager. This role allowed me to interact with individuals from diverse cultural and ethnic backgrounds, which I found immensely fulfilling. Meeting and understanding people from various walks of life was an enriching experience.
During my free time, I relish being in the great outdoors, surrounded by nature. I also enjoy pursuing photography, reading, and gardening. Physical fitness is important to me, and I find pleasure in working out at the gym. I also enjoy mentoring the youth in my church as I am the secretary of the Central Methodist Church, Mussoorie.
What I find most rewarding about teaching is not only facilitating academic growth but also fostering social development in students. As a dedicated team player, I actively participate in committees and school improvement projects, striving to create a better and safer environment for both students and staff.
