My job is to research and analyse risk relevant data. I perform negative news checks(process of screening a financial institution's client,individual/corporate) against news articles,legal prosecution which may affect the customer's risk by revealing their involvement in terrorism,fraud,tax evasion or other crimes. News can be derived from database,social media,internet,etc. I also help the team with solving their doubts regarding process,consolidating data,preparing reports,etc.
