• Well orientated with Piping design code and standards as SANS, ASME B31.3 &ASME 31.8, API and associated codes for Refinery, Process piping work. 
• Review the Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID’s), Plot plans, General Arrangement (GA) drawings.

  Review

  Fire and Gas Detector Layout Drawings, Instrument Specifications, Equipment Specifications, Pipe Specifications, Instrument Index, Instrument Design Basis and other relevant documents. Able to understand stress report, design various type of supports (primary & secondary) and BOM preparation.

• Create Process Flow Diagram (PFD), Piping & Instrumentation Diagram (P&D) as per Process Discipline with Piping Specifications as needed. Develop Equipment Modelling, 3D Piping Routing, Supports and Skids as per P&ID to extract such as Isometric drawings, Piping Layout & Equipment Layout as needed by using AutoCAD Plant3D
• Preparation of Line List, Line Summary List, Manual & Control Valve List, Instrument List, Equipment list, Nozzles List, Special Items List and Document Registry. 
• Report Generate such as Piping BOM, Insulation BOM, Structure BOM with time bound and cost optimization approach from 2D/3D environment, 
• Able to calculate pipe size, thickness, material selection, and pressure drop calculation.

  Understand various types of systems, pipe fittings, valves, specialty items and process equipment.
