Microbiology Intern - Public health laboratory VMC baroda - Vadodara

I completed my internship at a Food and Public Health Laboratory in Vadodara, where I gained extensive hands-on experience in microbiological analysis of food and water samples. During my internship, I was involved in media preparation, sterilization techniques, and maintenance of aseptic conditions to ensure accurate results. I performed microbial isolation, enumeration, and identification using standard microbiological methods.

I also assisted in routine quality control testing of samples and followed established laboratory protocols and safety guidelines. My work included handling laboratory instruments, recording observations, and maintaining proper documentation as per standard operating procedures. Additionally, I developed an understanding of food safety regulations and public health standards.

Worked in QC Microbiology at Sun Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd., assisting with pharmaceutical quality testing. Performed routine microbiological methods including CFU counting, bioburden testing, and environmental monitoring under aseptic conditions. Maintained documentation in accordance with GMP/GLP standards and supported calibration and cleaning of laboratory instruments.

I assisted the QC Microbiology team with analytical microbiology procedures such as CFU calculation, microbial contamination checks, and facility monitoring. The internship gave me practical exposure to pharmaceutical quality systems, aseptic workflows, and SOP-driven testing methods. I supported data recording, equipment calibration, and sterility practices to maintain safe, compliant laboratory operations.

i successfully completed a one-month internship in the Pathology Laboratory at Siddhi Vinayak Hospital, Kalol.
