Nargis Ali

Nargis Ali, an MBA graduate with specialization in finance and marketing and a Microsoft Certified professional, having an overall experience of 26 years. Since last 15 years she has been specifically working in the field of Renewable Energy, Carbon Management and Sustainability Reporting alongwith developing and implementing CSR programs from need analysis to Impact Assessment. Before starting her journey as an Independent Consultant she was associated with EKI Energy Services Limited and Powerica Limited as Core Team Member.

She has worked on various projects from Renewable Energy to Energy Efficiency to Waste Management and has handled end-to-end project management right from concept till commissioning which includes Wind power projects and community based projects such as cook-stoves, LEDs, water filters linked to various SDGs. She also managed the operational phase of these projects and has successfully handled the complete process from registration till issuance of carbon credits under compliance as well as voluntary standards such as CDM/ VERRA/ GS/ GCC/ IREC and UCR. She has transacted over 3 million offsets in the international markets.

And have even assisted in the Methodology Development Process under VERRA. She has assisted few Indian conglomerates in strategizing & accelerating their sustainability journey by creating their Carbon Management Plan including de-carbonization pathway with Renewable, Reliable and Sustainable solutions in line with Indian & International Reporting Standards viz. BRSR/ CDP/GRI/TCFD.

She has also assisted in framing NetZero Road Map aligned to SBTi standards and providing Carbon offsetting alternatives.
