My role and responsibilities -
-being a part of macro TPE -fxcmd Support team - we are one of the largest investment bank front office
FX, commodities and risk applications,
-we are responsible to ensure the trades are enriched post the trader books the trades and the trades are being sent to respective downstream.
-we provide level L2 support for FX, commodities and Risk applicationsand 24*6*365 days coverage,
we follow the SUN Model and provide coverage from Mexico, India (Pune & Bengaluru) and Tokyo.
-i mainly support for FX applications (Barx, tercel and TMS) applications
-we are responsible for making sure all the production servers and services should be up and running.
-Apart from production support we are responsible for Problem management, Infrastructure onboarding and decommission.
-and also, we participate in the release management and DCR tests.
-
-we monitor Autosys jobs -HTTP jobs, EOD jobs, weekend and month end jobs and housekeeping jobs
Every job will trigger as per the time sets, if any jobs we will check logs and escalate accordingly.
-and also, we extract the trade details from the DATABASE based on client requirements.
-we are responsible for change Managment ( CRs ) if any trades could not be able to verify, we will do from back end by running a insert/update/delete as per businessrequirement.
-we are responsible for monitoring BCML tool for MQ messages all the trades/details are flow through
MQs, and we make sure that all Q messages flow without any block logs.
-we are making sure that all trades details are flown to downstream without any error, if didn't flow,
We check logs in window servers and Unix servers to find the issue and will work on that.
-we responsible for weekend and month end / full and any Jeera release in produtions, we participate in the release before implementing in production, we do pre - post check of the release
