I'm a DevOps Engineer with 1.5+ years of hands-on experience at Coforge Ltd. I got into DevOps because I genuinely enjoy troubleshooting infrastructure problems and automating things that eat up too much of a team's time. Most of what I've built — a CI/CD pipeline from scratch, an S3 sync tool, a Tomcat upgrade script — came from spotting something painful and finding a cleaner way to do it.

I work with AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, and Terraform in my day-to-day role and I'm comfortable digging into Linux when things break.

DevOps Engineer at Coforge Ltd (2025-01 – Present)

1.5 Years Experience

• CI/CD Pipeline Setup (Python App): The GitHub repo existed but the team couldn't use it properly — there was no CI/CD set up at all.

I built it from scratch: wrote the Jenkinsfile, configured GitHub Webhooks, set up SonarQube quality gates, and got it to the point where any push to the repo automatically triggers a build, runs a code quality check, and deploys — no manual steps.

• Containerized the application by writing its Dockerfile, built the image, and wired it into the Jenkins pipeline so deployments are consistent across environments.
• S3 Cross-Account Sync & File Download Tool: Spotted a real time-sink: the team (POs, developers, support) had to log into the OLZ AWS account, download log files and error files one by one for each environment, then upload them manually into NLZ. This was happening constantly during our OLZ-to-NLZ migration.
• Built a sync feature directly into the app — clicking one button syncs all files from the OLZ S3 bucket to NLZ in one go. Authenticated to OLZ via AWS Secrets Manager and to NLZ via an IAM Role, with least-privilege permissions on the service account.
• Also added a file browser with clickable download links so anyone can access S3 files without ever opening the AWS Console — saved significant time across the whole team.
• Tomcat Upgrade Automation (Bash): We had 15 production servers and Tomcat releases a new version almost every month. Every upgrade meant someone had to SSH into each server and do it manually — time-consuming and easy to miss one.
• Wrote a Bash script that handles the full upgrade: stops the service, swaps the version, restarts. Now it's one command (./tomcat-upgrade) across all 15 servers. Reduced monthly upgrade time by 90%.
• Configured SSH keys, Docker permissions, and GitHub integration so Jenkins can pull code and run containers automatically without any manual access grants each time.
• Investigated and fixed production infrastructure issues alongside developers and support — the kind of work that doesn't have a ticket but keeps systems running.
• Used GitHub Copilot and Cursor day-to-day to speed up writing scripts and catch issues early.
