- Manage and monitor DC-DR server environments, ensuring optimal performance and resource utilization (CPU, memory, disk)
- Oversee daily UAT, DC & DR VCenter operations, verifying active CG replication, monitoring
VCenter resources (CPU, memory, storage), and NAS storage
- Ensure the completion of daily data and database backups on Backup Server.
- Administer backups using Commvault, ensuring VM, file system, and database backups are successfully completed
- Perform Linux OS installations and configurations, including software and package management via YUM and RPM
- Manage system partitions and file systems using LVM and fdisk, and create soft links as per requirements
- Create and manage user accounts and groups, assigning appropriate permissions across DEV,
UAT, DC, and DR environments
- Schedule and manage cron jobs for task automation and ensure efficient system log rotations
- Utilize ManageEngine for monitoring server health, availability, and resource utilization (disk,
CPU, memory)
- Use OPManager Plus to monitor network device availability, health, and bandwidth usage
- Apply patches and updates to Linux servers using Red Hat Satellite
Install and upgrade TrendMicro antivirus software on all DC & DR servers, monitoring through the AV console
- Create users on the PIM application tool, assign them to servers, and rotate user passwords for secure operations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth system operations and troubleshooting
