Data Analyst and Category Merchandiser
Role and Responsibilities: -
- Responsible for buying, managing inventory, and taking care of allocation and replenishment.
- Responsible for all aspects of online merchandising presentation for assigned departments (approximately 1,000 + skus):
sequencing, collections, cross-sells, etc.
- Manage in-season changes to merchandising strategy.
- Partner with merchant/planner team to learn about product/category performance and make strategic merchandising decisions to drive conversion.
- Liaison with other Buyers and Merchandise Coordinators on assigned departments to ensure on time Product launches of eCommerce identified product.
- Analyzing reports and determines adjustments on the website. Responsible for creating and analyzing weekly, monthly, and seasonal sales and site analytic reporting for the Online Merchandising team.
- Analyzing pre-season, in-season, and post-season performance and reporting recaps and defines future opportunities to create assortment strategy opportunities.
- Manage and review merchandise presentation on site to ensure the categorization, imagery, copy, pricing and promotional tags are accurate and meet internal guidelines.
- Ensure that all merchandising, marketing and promotional deadlines are meeting.
- Create buy plan & margin forecast.
- Managing Visual merchandising of website.
- Work in collaboration with Operations & Production teams on timing of stock deliveries.
- Monitors website to ensure that product are active on the site. Evaluates placement and productivity based on analytics to maximize sales daily.
