My role as an educator involved lesson planning and teaching for EY1 and EY2 students. Having worked before in United States at Elementary level, I could implement the Cambridge curriculum with my prior experience based on activity based understanding. I got opportunity to teach Literacy, Numeracy and Understanding the world.
Being qualified in music, I could also contribute considerably in Annual Function preparations for the school. I had to quit because of my husband's team transfer within his company.

I played an important role in planning and preparing resources using core and alternative methods based on the needs of curriculum in all subjects. Also, caring for them while educating is what helped them gain trust in me. It also helped them gain confidence in what they do.
I learnt a lot in my tenure at LWSD and I also got a chance to complete a Summer Book Analysis with my colleagues on the book "Beyond Behaviours" by Dr. Mona Delahooke. I helped me go deep into understanding the behaviour of students.
I also attended several trainings on using different strategies with best verbal interactions to deal with different behaviours of students.

Have been teaching vocal and instrumental music (Harmonium/keyboard) to all age kids at home. I also conducted Hindi Language classes in US for non Hindi speaking students from India based on CBSE syllabus starting from basics.
