Experience in Power, Oil & Gas sector Mechanical Construction field of structure, piping, Fabrication and Welding as a Mechanical Engineer in Mechanical Engineer-Piping & Welding in Project Management Department for Power, Oil and Gas companies.
- Co-ordination with Project team members (HO & Site), EPC Contractors and supporting departments
- Planning & monitoring of the project progress w.r.t Time & Cost
- Provides professional direction and guidance to project team in matters related to engineering standards, Project specifications, quality etc.
- Assist Project Head in the preparation of project execution schedule and assigning and allocating Resources.
- Assists Site Head in mobilization of resources such as manpower, plant & machinery, funds, site facilities Etc. for smooth execution of project.
- Studies and interprets project specifications (designs/drawings etc.) given by the consultant for awarded Contracts and obtains clarifications wherever necessary.
- Verifies the invoices raised and recommends for release of payments to contractors/sub-contractors, suppliers etc.
- Executed for the Mechanical part of the Fabrication, Erection, Inspection and Commissioning of Generator, HP & LP Turbine, Piping, Rotating machineries and other Auxiliary Plants such as TG Building, Compressors, Cooling water system etc.
- Responsible for complete engineering of Surface condenser, feed water heaters, desecrators, vacuum pump, TG auxiliaries system, final alignment & making protocol of equipment.
- Responsible for day to day supervision of works, planning, scheduling, monitoring of project, billing of contractor, quality control and assurance, Co-ordination with various interfaces for high rise structure, making a erection procedure.
- Anchoring on-site erection & commissioning activities and ensuring completion of project within the time & cost parameters and effective resource utilization to maximize the output.
- Installation and commissioning of the heavy equipment's as well as conducting tests & inspections to ensure operational effectiveness of Power plant & utilities.
- Preparation of relevant procedure/method statements and project required WPS's
- Co-ordination with Client for vendor inspections & other discipline departments
- Review and Verification of incoming materials and consumables
- Documentation (Drawings, Method Statement procedures as per project specs)
- Co-ordination meeting with the client and sub-contractors
- Inspection of Steam Drums, Steam Header, Pipes, Pipe Fittings, Valves, Witness Hydrostatic Test
- Review of drawings, WPS & PQR as per project specs.
- Verification and Inspection of incoming piping and welding materials & consumables
- Process piping and welding requirements according to codes and standards
- Witnessing of Qualification and certification of welders as per ASME Sec IX
