My responsibility role focused on managing crop insurance and farmer outreach at the district level, involving tasks like farmer awareness campaigns, liaising with agricultural and revenue departments, bank coordination, and preparing MIS reports.
- District administration and report writing, under the Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana, survey and insurance related banking, getting the premium done by the bank to the farmers on time and getting the agriculture related and revenue department crop cutting experiments done in the entire district, assisting in the production calculation, as per the guidelines of the Minister of Crop Insurance, so that the farmers can understand and benefit from the crop insurance scheme in the right manner
- Sending the relevant data to the regional offices for claim determination as well as handling the promotional activities to be implemented across the districts like farmer meetings, farmer camping, leaflet distribution, paintings, hoardings all program decide and management by the district level
- In the third phase, all the intimations received from individual farmers will be surveyed and their actual status will be checked and a report will be prepared and sent to the regional office for verification
- Implementing the scheme with three departments, including agriculture department, revenue department and banking department, handling all three departments, solving their grievances and taking their time to provide all the information
- In 4 stages, within insurance, it is related to bank and CSC which is a public service center and creating a relationship between nationalized bank and private bank and getting the farmers insured from there
