Started as an ad-hoc teacher (primary) after becoming a science graduate (1981). Then as a trained teacher and next as a postgraduate teacher in India. Also offered my services to schools as Principal and Assistant Principal (independent charge). This covered till 2006. I left India in 2006 and joined the South African Department of Higher Education (Mpumalanga Education) as an expatriate. Retired in 2022 March.
