Client: SEI Investments Company. L2 and L3 support that involves scheduling of SAP modules and other application batch jobs as per business requirement in Control-M and its tool administration.
- Upgrading/patching of Control-M server, EM server and Agents as a planned maintenance activity, Control-M Agent installation and maintenance.
- Hold the execution of batch during application server maintenance and resume them post activity.
- Servicing batch reports-run info, forecast, license usage reports, alerts etc. requests from business
- Annual calendar definitions, DST activity and Year-End activity scheduling adjustments.
- Troubleshooting issues related to batch performance and documenting the issue case.
- Experience with Control-M scheduling and administration.
- Migration of Control-M tool from Version 9.0.19 to Version 9.0.21.
- Build and validate job flows, calendar requirements, and scheduling criteria.
- Mass jobs creation using automation. Knowledge on Linux and windows system.
- Ability to handle Priority issues, Problem management and root cause analysis.
- Built High availability for Control-M server.
- Expertise in utilizing all Control-M Components: GUI, GCS, CCM.
- Administrative utility tools, History, Forecast, Reporting Facility.
- Able to analyse business requirements procedures and problems to smooth migration of job flows and scheduled systems.
- Hands-on experience in server/agent monitoring/ trouble shooting, job flow analysis and troubleshooting, job failure resolution, schedule modification.
- Documentation and procedures required for future reference.
- Building new Control-M environment (Production and QA environment) for other clients.
- Control-M agents/Server fix-pack and patch installation on Linux and windows OS platforms. Upgradation of Control-M agents.
- Trouble shooting on Agent/server not communicating to Data Centre and job failures and resolutions.
- Communication failures in GAS, GCS, GUI, Gateway, Agent unavailable, SAP/BW accounts un-available.
- Implementing changes in test environment and handling the same in production systems.
- Providing 24*7 on-call support after-office hours and on weekends.
- Having knowledge on service Now to create RITM, INCIDENTS and CHANGE REQUESTS.
- Understanding of Service Now tool and knowledge on running scripts
- Ability to handle challenging situations and having good analytical thinking, committed.
- Flexible to take-up additional responsibilities when required.
