Research and Development at ASTEC LIFESCIENCES LTD. (GODREJ AGROVET) (2025-07 – Present)

• Actively engaged in carrying out literature survey via Internet, Chemical abstract, selecting feasible route of synthesis, handling hazardous chemicals, mass balance and component balance.
• Maintaining safety standards during experimentation and knowing MSDS of Chemicals used in the laboratory.
• Instruments handled- Autoclave (pressure up to 5Kg), DIEHM Reactor(glass), SPDU (short path distillation unit), Rota evaporator, vacuum oven, syringe pump, HPLC pump.
• Capable of conducting experiments involving high vacuum distillation, azeotropic distillation and fractional distillation using packed columns.
• Purification and isolation of products via Column chromatography, fractional distillation, acid-base purification.
• Worked on chemical recycling along with its reuse and effluent treatment.
• Well versed with GC, HPLC, GC-MS, LC-MS to assess the quality of raw materials, monitor the progress of reactions, and analyse the finished product
• Conducted Process safety studies (corrosion studies) and what if studies.
• Documentation like preparation of BFD & Electronic laboratory notebook
• Preparing a summary of the experiments, generating weekly reports and submitting the same to top management.
• Competent to plan lab reactions, follow instructions of shift in- charge/ seniors and take follow up of samples from Analytical department.

• Maintaining records of chemicals, chemical glassware, laboratory instruments, etc.
• Has worked in shifts in highly aggressive R &D setup.
• Equipment used for distillation like manyfold, perkin triangle.
