Conducted a preliminary design and performance analysis of a supersonic air intake system for a High Altitude Test Facility (HATF) during internship at the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO). The project involved studying supersonic airflow characteristics, shock wave formation, pressure recovery, flow distortion, and intake efficiency under high-altitude operating conditions. Performed aerodynamic assessments using theoretical calculations and engineering principles to evaluate intake performance and optimize airflow delivery to propulsion systems.

Gained practical exposure to aerospace testing facilities, high-speed aerodynamics, propulsion integration, and research-oriented engineering methodologies used in advanced aerospace applications.
