Hi there! I’m Prateek, and I’m currently seeking an entry-level role in the digital marketing industry.
I’m a graduate in commerce and a semi-qualified cost accountant from ICMAI (a professional accounting body under the Ministry of Corporate Affairs of the Government of India).
After the CMA intermediate exams, I decided to take a break from EVERYTHING, and work on my inner (holistic) well-being.
And that gave me a direction to explore what I wanted to do in the world, and then I started exploring digital marketing and really started falling in love with it.
I always wondered and still do about how businesses actually work, and the rest of it, as well as the psychology part of it, intrigues me, wanting to understand our minds!
That made me enroll myself in a digital marketing training program at MyCaptain, where I’m learning social media marketing, search engine optimization, and performing marketing.
Since March 2024, I’ve been a social media manager at Pechaan The Street School (Trust), where I’ve focused my time on managing social media platforms and strategizing social media campaigns. While at Pechaan, my biggest accomplishment has been that I get to see how the underprivileged children are getting educated through the efforts of all the teachers, volunteers, and everyone involved, which brings a great sense of satisfaction to me.
Along with this, I’m also supporting Qodeit as an intern to help grow their business by generating leads, conducting research, creating content, and engaging with the community.
Prior to this role, I was at the Isha Foundation, where I spent quite some time volunteering in various departments.
