Intern, Drilling Services Department at Oil India Limited (OIL) (2025-07 – Present)

• Gained hands-on exposure to rotary drilling rig components including drawworks, traveling block, hook, swivel, rotary table, kelly, drill collars, and stabilizers.
• Visited active directional well sites (S#5, V#1, V#2) observing J-bend and S-bend profiles drilled using Rotary Steerable Systems and Polycrystalline Diamond bits.
• Studied MWD and LWD technologies for real-time downhole data acquisition and learned the complete well drilling sequence from site preparation to Total Depth.
• Understood BOP systems, cementing operations, choke manifolds, solid control systems, fishing tools, and HSE protocols including the Hierarchy of Risk Control Measures.
