• Ensure proper functions and maintainance of echo equipment
• Follow hospital protocols and infection control and patient care.
• Diagnostic imaging - performed high quality 2D, M mode, colour Doppler echocardiographic studies to assess cardiac anatomy and function.
• Patient care and preparation - Explained procedure to patients, reviewed medical history, monitoring vital signs and ensured comfort throughout the study.
• Specialized procedure - Assist cardiologist with trans esophageal echocardiogram (TEE) and stress echo cardiograms.
• To identify abnormalities related to valvular heart disease, congenital heart disease, cardiomyopathy, pericardial disease.
