Passionate about leveraging technology to improve mental health, I am an Electronics and Communication Engineering student pursuing an Integrated Master's and B.Tech degree at IIIT-Hyderabad. With a strong aptitude for research and innovation, I have conducted extensive studies on the impact of the metaverse on mental health and physical fitness.
As a Research Assistant Intern at META (Facebook), I analyzed traditional practices versus emerging technologies for mental health and fitness. By studying AR/VR products, I designed prototypes within the Indian context and proposed design interventions to bridge gaps in metaverse-related mental health research.
Continuing my research at IIIT-Hyderabad's Cognitive Science Lab, I explore the relationship between the metaverse and mental health. Through literature reviews and prototype design, I aim to enhance understanding and propose innovative solutions.
I have served as a Teaching Assistant, supporting faculty in Human Sciences and Psychology courses. I actively engage with students to ensure their progress.
In research projects, I analyze head movements and emotional experiences in 360° virtual environments, develop affective databases, and investigate gait patterns and emotional responses in immersive VR. These projects expand my expertise in VR technology and its applications in therapy and training.
Beyond research, I excel in software development and blockchain technologies. I have completed projects on decentralized platforms for farmers and bidding/supply chain management systems, showcasing proficiency in languages such as C++, Java, Python, and more.
I have held position of responsibility as a Member of the Student Parliament at IIIT-Hyderabad. I have also won hackathons and accolades for my projects.
