I work as a test automation engineer with 3 years of experience in designing and developing automation scripts and frameworks. I primarily work on web-based automation libraries built on node.js (cypress.io, playwright, cucumber), also, API testing. I majorly work on vanilla JavaScript and have some exposure to Python and TypeScript as well.
Apart from this, I have worked on a couple of projects based on Data Analysis and Machine Learning. As a science and tech enthusiast, I love learning and exploring this domain. Always eager to solve problems (coding, science & tech).
Senior Engineer in Test Automation
My day to day responsibilities include:
Designing entire testing framework for projects.
Writing efficient automation test cases and implementing the test scripts for it.
Implementing network requests and API in test to save the time for test pre-steps and cleanup.
Implementing algorithms and functions to make the tests fast and efficient.
Execution and maintaining the test code to make sure the platform is running without any issues.
Coordinating with clients and team leads to prepare backlog and planning ahead to manage resources.
Planning and organizing tasks wrt Agile and Scrum methodology.
Code reviews.
Conducting automation testing training sessions at team as well as organization level, mentoring new joiners.
