Lay up fabric and accurately cut it into appropriate shapes and sizes for garment assembly.

Pin, baste, and drape garment parts together to ensure proper fit and aesthetic appearance.

Seam garments using sewing machines and hand stitching techniques, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship.

Conduct fittings with customers, making necessary adjustments and marking areas that require alteration.

Sew buttonholes, attach buttons, hooks, eyes, and press fasteners to complete garments.

Utilize pressing and finishing techniques to give garments a polished and professional appearance.

Maintain a clean and organized work area, including the proper storage and organization of fabrics, patterns, and equipment.

Collaborate with team members, such as designers and other tailors, to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of garments.

Stay updated on industry trends, new sewing techniques, and fashion styles to provide customers with the latest options and recommendations.

Adhere to quality standards and deadlines to meet customer expectations and ensure customer satisfaction.

Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively and professionally with customers throughout the garment creation process.

Follow safety protocols and guidelines when operating sewing machines, handling tools, and using pressing equipment.
