Developed RAPID, a fully customizable payments solution for educational institutes, which is the company’s flagship product. RAPID offers multiple payment methods such as EMI, Auto-Debit, and PG. It can be seamlessly integrated with the institute’s website or ERP as an SDK or utilized as an online webpage. Additionally, I created FMS, a dashboard for RAPID, which provides analytics and customization options.
Took ownership of the Mandate microservice, which enables the auto-debit facility for customers. Was involved in the design and implementation of this service. Collaborated with product managers to understand the requirements. Successfully delivered the backend within the deadline, as mandated by RBI regulations. Within 6 months of its launch, over 90,000 Mandates were created using this service.
Developed wrapper libraries to simplify and reduce code repetition in Reports Generation & Notification System that led to 30% reduction in codebase. Shifted from Redis to SQS as our messaging queue, introduced multiple queques for better performance.
Built a python package for authentication and authorisation, which is utilized across multiple microservices. Provides features like JWT Auth, API Key Auth and blacklisting. This package significantly reduced the effort required to manually configure authentication in each service.
Taken ownership of Institute Dashboard, responsible for developing new features, fixing issues and support. Optimising existing APIs improving latency, Integrated third party APIs for face identification and telecom.
