Senior Power Generation Leader with 20+ years of progressive experience in large coal-based Captive Power Plants, with a proven leadership journey from GET to General Manager at Hindalco Industries Limited, A Flagship Company. Currently leading Engineering & Technical Services for a 487 MW coal-based CPP, with cross-functional experience spanning Plant Operations, O&M, CFBC Boilers, Steam Turbines, Projects, Asset Reliability, and Process improvement, Energy Management, Performance Optimisation and Strategic CAPEX Initiatives. Strong leadership orientation with experience in multidisciplinary team management, safety governance, risk management, digital transformation, sustainability, decarbonisation and resource optimisation.
Demonstrated track record of delivering measurable improvements in plant heat rate, auxiliary power consumption, water efficiency, emissions, equipment reliability and operating performance, including improvement of heat rate from 2757 to 2620 kcal/kWh, APC from 9.2% to 8.0%, and specific water consumption from 2.87 to 2.11 L/kWh.
