• Understanding of the electrical standards used in factories to evaluate every piece of equipment that breaks down; ensuring that timely action is taken to reduce downtime
• Preparing SOP and JSA for the machine, performing safety assessment, and coordinating with the nearby sub-station to ensure a constant supply of power
• Approving annual maintenance contracts for things like DG, transformer servicing, fire prevention systems, elevators, forklifts, and security systems; choosing the vendors for each engineering-related product
• Performing Operations & Maintenance of utilities such as air compressors, water chillers, cooling towers, non-IBR boilers, 750 KVA diesel generators, fire suppression systems (diesel generators and electrical pumps), and HVAC systems
• Devising and implementing strategies and frameworks for ongoing operations to optimize and increase the efficiency of processes in the engineering department
• Supervising & maintaining the documents necessary for various audits relating to the Engineering Department
• Tracking vital spare parts inventory using ERP, SAP, and Maintenance Express as well as managing computer-aided electrical single line drawings
