- Controlling & managing the company and contractor management and ensuring the timely execution of projects and routine tasks without jeopardizing worker and equipment safety
- Planning & scheduling CAPA and breakdown maintenance tasks with a primary emphasis on maintaining a minimal supply of machine spare parts; developing and approving an electrical equipment spare parts proposal
- Managing installation and commissioning of LT/HT, PMCC, and MCC Panels
- Directing & supervising the team in the execution of normal, corrective, and preventive maintenance tasks on electrical and instrumentation equipment, such as LT Motors, AC/DC drives, Transformers, UPS, and electrical heating systems, among other items
- Administering preventive and predictive maintenance schedules of essential equipment to reduce stoppages and breakdown, performing analysis by using KPI – MTBF & MTTR
- Identifying job-related risks that are dangerous and taking action to prevent accidents, maintaining personal skill level by participating in technical & EHS training programs
- Understanding of the electrical standards used in factories to evaluate every piece of equipment that breaks down; ensuring that timely action is taken to reduce downtime
- Preparing SOP and JSA for the machine, performing safety assessment, and coordinating with the nearby sub-station to ensure a constant supply of power
- Approving annual maintenance contracts for things like DG, transformer servicing, fire prevention systems, elevators, forklifts, and security systems; choosing the vendors for each engineering-related product
- Performing Operations & Maintenance of utilities such as air compressors, water chillers, cooling towers, non-IBR boilers, 750 KVA diesel generators, fire suppression systems (diesel generators and electrical pumps), and HVAC systems
- Devising and implementing strategies and frameworks for ongoing operations to optimize and increase the efficiency of processes in the engineering department
- Supervising & maintaining the documents necessary for various audits relating to the Engineering Department
- Tracking vital spare parts inventory using ERP, SAP, and Maintenance Express as well as managing computer-aided electrical single line drawings
