As a Critical Care Intern at Saveetha Medical College & Hospital, I gained hands-on experience in managing critically ill patients in a high-acuity ICU setting. I assisted in advanced airway management, including endotracheal intubation, and supported central and arterial line placements while working in a 120-bed SHIELD ICU. I participated in CPR and emergency resuscitation, including defibrillator use during cardiac arrest.

I monitored vital parameters, assessed patient responses, and communicated findings with the ICU team. I also ensured safe patient transport and contributed to patient and family education, strengthening my teamwork and communication skills.
