Observability-focused IT professional with 10+ years of experience delivering robust monitoring solutions using ITM, HP OBM, HP NNMi, Datadog, and Grafana. Expertise in modern observability practices including APM, Open Telemetry, distributed tracing, and real-time analytics. Network monitoring expertise including SNMP traps, NetFlow/sFlow analysis, and bandwidth utilization tracking. Windows and Linux server monitoring including CPU, memory, disk I/O, process health, and kernel-level metrics.
Experience with log aggregation and analysis using centralized logging frameworks (ELK stack, Datadog logs). Strong understanding of SLA/SLO/SLI definitions and implementation using error budgets and performance indicators. Alerting and notification strategies using threshold-based, anomaly detection approaches.
Experience in event deduplication, suppression, and noise reduction techniques to improve signal-to-noise ratio. Screen/UI monitoring and dashboard optimization for NOC operations and executive visibility. Cloud monitoring experience across AWS/Azure including auto-scaling, container monitoring (Kubernetes), and serverless observability.
Integration of monitoring tools with ITSM platforms for incident, problem, and change management workflows. Strong expertise in observability pillars (metrics, logs, traces) and concepts like cardinality, tagging, telemetry pipelines, and correlation analysis.
