Working at ICAR Indian Institute of Millet Research (ICAR-IIMR) as an SRF in pearl millet breeding from 2019 in the projects "Application of next generation breeding, genotyping and digitalisation approaches for improving the genetics gain in Indian staple crop" and Global CoE on Millet-Shree Anna as a molecular breeder.

• Standardized speed breeding protocol in millet's, including pearl millet, to accelerate generation advancement.
• Developed and maintained A, B, R, and CMS lines in pearl millet through genomic selection and cross-compatibility studies.
• Led pearl millet hybrid development and multi-location evaluation using RCBD, SPARSE and other experimental designs; handled AICRP trials.
• Conducted trait introgression through backcrossing and MAS for drought tolerance, blast resistance, high iron/zinc and low rancidity.
• Identified and screened drought and heat-tolerant, as well as low-rancidity lines, from diverse pearl millet germplasm.
• Executed MLTs for nutritional trait evaluation in finger millet, pearl millet, and kodo millet GWAS panels.
• Skilled in molecular techniques including DNA/RNA extraction, PCR, gel electrophoresis, gene cloning and transformation.
• Experienced in genetic diversity analysis using SSR/SNP markers and data analysis tools like R, DARwin and FASTA software.
