Business planning platform built on data and AI

• Architected the incremental-sync ingestion layer moving 15 billion rows per day, with layered fallback strategies so a failing source degrades gracefully instead of stalling a customer’s plan refresh.
• Redesigned processing to push computation down to the database layer, reducing the application tier to thin orchestration and removing it as the scaling bottleneck.
• Built the data observability layer — freshness, volume, schema and distribution checks — and introduced test-driven development for data pipelines, so regressions are caught before they reach a customer’s numbers.
• Designed the multi-tenant data model so large enterprise customers onboard without degrading query performance for existing tenants.
• Built a custom MCP server and Claude plugin giving internal and external AI agents a governed interface to the platform — authenticated per caller, scoped to that caller’s tenant and role, audited on every tool call.
• Established the platform’s AI access-control pattern: agents read through a read-only path where row-level security and PII masking are already enforced, and every mutation goes through typed, versioned APIs rather than model-generated SQL — making agent actions deterministic and reviewable.
• Authored in-house Claude Skills for data work — dataset comparison, ingestion-strategy and schedule recommendation, and data-quality assessment — encoding platform judgement once so every agent applies it consistently.

• Architected a cloud-native lakehouse — cloud object storage with ClickHouse as the primary compute layer — handling terabytes of data at billions of rows per day.
• Designed the core data models — row-level permissions and PII handling for multi-tenant enterprise deployments — and the governance practices (lineage, access control, retention, audit) that carried the platform through SOC 2, ISO 27001 and GDPR.
• Built the platform from zero; adopted by 5+ Fortune 500 companies within two years of launch.
• Owned it end to end — roadmap, architecture, deployment and customer success — as a hands-on architect writing production code, while growing and mentoring the platform team.

• Remodelled complex enterprise supply chain data for analytical access, and cut Snowflake spend materially by reworking warehouse sizing, clustering and query patterns — without giving up query performance.
• Re-architected the community intelligence application — global data aggregation and inference — for scale, and led a centralised data insights platform with data scientists and product owners.
