• Global Purchase & Sourcing for regularcomponent or new component to optimizethe cost in countries like, China, Turkey, Mexico, UnitedKingdom Etc.
• Globally supplierdealing and creatingan effective relationto meet the customer specificrequirements.
• Negotiate prices based on open calculation, lead-time, landed cost, and total cost (focusing on projects).
• Negotiate contracts with non-product and product related suppliers (PR & NPR) with support and agreement from Director Strategic Supply Management.
• Floating RFQ to different supplierfor competitive market price to minimize the cost.
• Prepare Bid Analysis and recommend supplier based on techno/commercial bid and strategic decision.
• Perform supplier market analysis, category analysis, and supply risk analysis, and develop TCO understanding, the map of how sourcing process and channels work within locally managed category and identify improvements to be target.
• Procurement and Negotiation of components material of Plastic, forging,Alloy steel, Gear & Shaft,sheet metal &proprietary items & BOP items.
• Support new product introduction to enable shortening of time to market achieving cost goals.
• Support R&D for Design review & new ideas for cost effectivedesign.
• Reviewing Process,Work Instructions, ControlPlan, PFMEA, PPAP requirements. With CFT for in house & vendor end.
• identify cost reduction opportunities to drive down direct material % of COGS (Cost of goods sold) for all PPV and VAVE support activities.
