I am a nerd when it comes to games and movies. I love to do Matte Paintings and Compositing. As you can see I'm a 3D DMP Artist. My job is to show things that are not there. In simple terms 'edit and project things' (as per briefed by the higher-ups) in the master shot. I mainly work with Photoshop, Nuke, Maya, Blender, Substance Painter, and Renderman. I love doing Matte Paintings in Photoshop and doing Projections in Nuke.
Expertise in creating photo-realistic or stylized 3D and 2D matte paintings, environments, and set extensions.
Understanding of lighting, color theory, and composition, and how to apply these principles to create seamless and believable environments.
Ability to work collaboratively with other artists, producers, directors, and supervisors to achieve the desired look and feel of a project.
Knowledge of industry-standard workflows/pipelines, file formats, and delivery requirements.
Strong attention to detail, problem-solving, and time-management skills.
Ability to adapt to new techniques and technologies as they emerge in the industry.
A passion for digital art, a desire to learn and improve, and a commitment to creating visually stunning and compelling environments for film and media.
