Mainly looking after the work flow in the production department.

• Setting modes of operation in the production floor such as group production.
• Coordination with the merchandisers and designers as I have interest in new developments and creativity.

PRODUCTION MANAGER - KAMAL INTERNATIONAL - Kolkata

Areas of work including from production planning and coordination with store and supplier so that materials are delivered to the production floor in time.

• Running Pilot Run to minimize errors in production and to fasten production.
• Responsible for leather sourcing to production to packing including the logistic part.

FACTORY MANAGER (H.O.D) - LBI EXPORT pvt ltd. (Lloyd Baker India) - Kolkata

Head of all Departments, Factory manager – Leather Bags & Lifestyle Accessories: Areas of work included right from departments of leather development, lining, hardware materials and for sampling, merchandising, production and dispatch of leather bags and SLG's for contemporary European consumers.

• Design Developments and making prototypes with designers from London and Kolkata based undertaken by me for international brands such as Lloyd Baker, Pattrick Cox, Jane Shilton, Osprey, Laura Ashley, Ben Sherman, William Hunt, Chocolate & Pink, Jones, Tommy & Kate, Victoria Jayne, Paul Costelloe, Debenhams, John Lewis, Monsoon, Tom & Joules, Funbag, Mariana, TK Maxx, John Lewis, Red Direct and Tesco (F&F).
• Managing profitability of all the departments by minimizing the costs & proper utilization of available resources and also developing pricing strategy of the organization.
• Independently managing the production department with a team of manufacturers, fabricators and also coordinating with the checking and packing department by preparing and maintaining dispatch schedules.
• Total in-house and outsource production capacity is 40,000 to 42,000 handbags and SLG is 60,000 to 65,000 pcs. per month which results in making approx. ninety crore turnover organization.
• Another new factory at Kolkata Leather Complex, Bantala is also taken under process and all responsibilities have been taken by me for this new Factory Project.
• Incorporating new systems and plans for better work environment and culture but following Audit norms and regulations.
• Award: Due to my good performance and efficiency I have been promoted to a new position in 2009, I have received a new car.

GM (Production) - Farinni Leather pvt ltd. - Kolkata

(2015-01 - 2019-11)

Areas of work from Leather Cutting to complete production and dispatch including HR part. Incorporating new systems and plans for a better work environment and culture. Handling approx. 20 thousand pieces of Hand Bags and 40 thousand pieces of SLG's in 4 production units.

FACTORY MANAGER (Production and Admin) - LBI EXPORT pvt ltd. (Lloyd Baker India) - Kolkata

(2019-11 - 2024-11)

Head of all Departments and responsibilities are leather cutting, production, check / pack to dispatch approx. 40 thousand pieces of handbags and approx. 30 thousand pieces of SLG including domestic and international transportation part.

Taking care of the production plan from the actual sales plan to coordinate with Retail team, sourcing, QC, manufacturing and its proper engineering to Dispatch.
