Main Responsibilities of Front Office Executive – Outpatient Billing

• Registration new and follow-up OPD patients in the hospital system.
• Creating and generating OPD consultation bills for different departments and doctors.
• Handling cash, card, online payments, and providing receipts.
• Coordinating with corporate patients, TPA, WBHS, insurance, and cashless.
• Verifying patient details, referral letters, and corporate documents before billing.
• Scheduling and managing doctor appointments.
• Guiding patients to consultation rooms, diagnostic departments, and admission counters when required.
• Handling incoming and outgoing calls related to appointments and patient queries.
• Assisting patients and attendants with hospital procedures and service information.
• Coordinating with doctors, nursing staff, diagnostic departments, and corporate desk for smooth patient flow.
• Managing patient records and maintaining confidentiality of hospital information.
• Solving patient complaints and providing support politely and professionally.
• Updating billing information and maintaining daily reports in the hospital management system (HMS/TATA HMS).
• Checking corporate eligibility documents and authorization letters.
• Preparing signed bill copies and submitting documents to the corporate department.
• Coordinating with insurance/TPA teams for approvals and billing clarification.
• Explaining billing policies and follow up rules to corporate patients.
