Senior Manager, Branding & Communications - Fiserv Global Services - India GCC
(2023-09)
Own the brand, corporate reputation, and executive visibility of Fiserv's India GCC (7,000+ associates, five cities), reporting into global communications leadership. Drive outcomes through a 14-member cross-functional ecosystem and a network of external partners, councils, and media, leading without formal authority. Visibility here is earned, not sponsored.
- Positioned the brand on the industry's biggest stages. End-to-end counsel for the President of the brand, with parallel preparation for the CFO, COO, HR and tech leadership leadership for multiple industry forums across GCC, technology, and talent & culture. The President now recognized as Top GCC Head and Top BFSI GCC Head by Analytics India Magazine.
- Own the strategy for which conversations the company leads. Advise senior leaders on the narratives to own, the forums to prioritise, and how to position themselves externally, then translate that into placement.
- Placed 9 leaders on 14 industry councils without paying for a single seat. As the relationship owner and strategic interface across Nasscom, AmCham, Analytics India Magazine, the Agile Testing Alliance, and the IMA CFO Forum, converting ecosystem access into leadership placements, hosted programmes, and sustained executive presence.
- Turned those seats into a visibility engine. 67 speaking engagements (up 49% YoY) and 57 leadership networking placements (up 42% YoY), at roughly 90% organic participation, with 75% of speakers at VP level or above, and the model now shifting from push to pull as forums increasingly seek leaders out rather than the other way round.
- Wrote the rulebook for who speaks where. Co-authored the ELT playbook "Right Forum. Right Leader. Right Message," governing which leaders speak, where, and on what.
- Hosted 7 specialised industry cohorts in-house, convening 200+ professionals from 50+ organisations including Adobe, BNY Mellon, Deloitte, Citi, and PayPal, by partnering with Nasscom, Wequity, the Society of Technical Communicators, and the Agile Testing Alliance across the GCC Playbook, Women in Tech, Product Management for Women, the Pre-GCC Summit, and a Business Resilience roundtable.
- Launched two global-second facilities on a worldwide stage. Full-cycle communications for the Fiserv Incident Command Center, Chennai, and Fiserv Mainframe University India: prelaunch campaigns, hybrid events streamed globally, leadership firesides, and post-launch films, partnering with FTS leadership up to SVP level.
- Convened the closed-door conversations. Leadership roundtables with senior leaders from Genpact, Concentrix, Macquarie, SimCorp, and Milliman.
- Put the right voice behind every story. A thought-leadership programme spanning GCC landscape commentary, India-to-the-globe innovation, and talent, culture, and community narratives, with authentic voices from the President to hands-on engineers, placed in Tier-1 and B2B technology media (Mint, Forbes India, CNBC-TV18, the Economic Times, the Times of India) across articles, podcasts, panels, and video, with roughly three-quarters of coverage on technology portals to reach a talent audience.
- Held the line through a restructuring. Real-time social listening and sentiment management during a sensitive workforce event, with daily intelligence briefings to leadership.
- Showed the earned-first model delivers. With roughly 90% of ecosystem access earned rather than bought, cut reliance on paid vehicles such as advertorials, exhibit booths, and sponsorships while expanding reach, and amplified community impact and women-in-technology programmes to reinforce the employer-of-choice narrative behind talent attraction.
- Turned recognition into proof. Fiserv named among exchange4media's Top 25 brands with in-house communications teams; Nasscom GCC Awards 2025 ('Leadership in New Capability Specialisation' for CyberShield.AI, Product Management, and Signature); Wequity's 'Most Inclusive Organization for Women in Tech' four years running; and the ET Now FEM-TECH Diversity in Technology Award 2024.
- Built a generative-AI-augmented operating model with human-in-the-loop governance. Drafting against verified sources only, programmatic document production, and automated QA let a one-person function produce 300+ executive assets a year, cutting talk-track and deck turnaround from days to hours while protecting accuracy and executive voice. Designed the three-pillar social and advocacy strategy (15 ELT advocate seats) with Fiserv's global social media leadership.
