• Surgical Observation & Equipment Exposure: Observed Coronary Artery Bypass Graft (CABG) surgery in the Operation Theater (OT) to understand the practical application and monitoring of life-critical medical devices.
• OT Equipment Familiarity: Gained hands-on insight into the operation of equipment used during cardiac surgeries, such as the Heart-Lung Machine (CPB), Patient Monitors, and Defibrillators.
• Endoscopy Installation: Assisted Senior Biomedical Engineers in the installation and calibration of Endoscopy systems, ensuring all optical and electronic components were set up according to clinical standards.
• Technical Support: Worked alongside the senior team to understand the troubleshooting and preventive maintenance of OT instrumentation.
• Calibration of defibrillator, pulse oximeter, patient health monitor, baby wormer, sphygmomanometer, infusion pump, by using stimulus.
