Mechanical Maintenance Engineer with 3 years of hands-on thermal power plant O&M;
experience in coal pulverization, coal feeding and boiler mechanical systems. NPTI-trained Power Plant Engineering professional with experience at a 1200 MW NALCO Captive Power Plant maintaining XRP 763 and XRP 803 Bowl Mills and Gravimetric, Volumetric and Drum Coal Feeders through preventive, breakdown and corrective maintenance, planned maintenance, inspection, dismantling, component replacement, alignment, overhauling, roller adjustment, differential pressure monitoring, lubrication and seal air system maintenance. Additional experience at a 2×600 MW power plant covering boiler rotary equipment, Rotary Air Preheater (APH), FD/ID/PA Fans, fan lube oil systems, secondary air dampers, wind box and soot blowers.
Experienced in maintenance planning and scheduling, shutdown support, fault diagnosis, equipment inspection, condition monitoring, equipment reliability and availability, spare parts identification, equipment restoration, SAP defect management, PTW/LOTO and coordination with Operations, Electrical and C&I; teams. NEBOSH IGC Level 3 certified as an additional safety qualification.
