Bowl Mill / Pulverizer & Coal Feeder Maintenance

• Executed preventive, breakdown and corrective mechanical maintenance of XRP 763 and XRP 803 Bowl Mills, supporting reliable coal pulverization and continuous boiler fuel supply.
• Performed planned maintenance, shutdown maintenance and overhauling activities involving inspection, dismantling, component replacement, reassembly, alignment and post-maintenance trial runs.
• Inspected grinding rolls, bull ring segments and journal assemblies for wear, damage and abnormal mechanical conditions; performed roller adjustment to support pulveriser performance.
• Inspected mill gearbox, worm gear, vertical shaft and bearings for wear, abnormal vibration, noise and other mechanical abnormalities; rectified identified defects.
• Maintained mill lube oil skid, lubrication and seal air systems, identifying leakage and lubrication-related issues during maintenance activities.
• Monitored mill differential pressure and operating parameters to identify abnormal conditions including mill choking and reduced pulverization performance.
• Inspected, dismantled and reassembled aerodynamic vane wheels and critical mill internals, assessing wear and damage.
• Executed preventive, breakdown and corrective maintenance of Gravimetric, Volumetric and Drum Coal Feeders, including belts, pulleys, bearings, gearboxes, drives and related mechanical components
• Performed feeder belt tensioning and alignment, pulley inspection and replacement; troubleshot belt misalignment, slippage, abnormal vibration and feeding interruptions.
• Performed Bowl Mill and Coal Feeder overhauls covering dismantling, inspection, bearing replacement, alignment, component replacement, reassembly and trial runs.
• Identified and rectified mechanical abnormalities and equipment defects to restore Bowl Mill and Coal Feeder operation and minimize equipment downtime.
• Coordinated with Electrical, C&I; and Operations teams during equipment isolation, maintenance, testing, trial runs and restoration
• Complied with Permit-to-Work (PTW), LOTO, safe work practices and HSE procedures during maintenance and shutdown activities.

• Executed preventive, breakdown and planned mechanical maintenance of boiler rotary equipment and auxiliary systems, supporting equipment reliability and plant availability.
• Performed inspection, maintenance and troubleshooting of Bowl Mill / Pulveriser systems, including lube oil skid and seal air system, with involvement in spare identification and maintenance planning.
• Performed Rotary Air Preheater (APH) maintenance, including associated lube oil system inspection and maintenance.
• Performed maintenance of major boiler fans including FD Fan, ID Fan and PA Fan, together with their respective lube oil systems.
• Performed secondary air damper control and wind box maintenance in coordination with C&I; and Operations teams.
• Performed maintenance of Long Retractable Soot Blowers (LRSB), Half Retractable Soot Blowers (HRSB) and wall blowers as part of boiler auxiliary maintenance.
• Assisted Operations during boiler light-up and shutdown activities, supporting maintenance coordination and equipment readiness.
