• Responsible for incoming coating material inspection and has to ensure whether these materials suits to meets the requirements of project specifications.
• Maintaining proper batch Certificates, Calibration certificates etc.
• Planned, Organized, Managed & Controlled All Blasting & painting Activities.
• Review all paints and coating specification, Manufacturer’s product data sheet painting crew approvals, safety standards and other paints/ coating related documents.
• Supervised the surface preparation to check for dust / Salt contamination levels.
• Visually inspected the painting activities as per the project specification requirements and ensured paint system’s WFT and DFT.
•  Maintaining labor allotment sheet and preparation of schedule.
• Periodic monitoring of whether conditions. To find out the dry bulb and wet bulb temperature in sling psychometrics. Check dew Point, RH% and substrate temperature for suitable of blasting and Coating
• Check all inspection equipment’s, abrasive blasting equipment’s are all properly tagged prior to commencement of the paints/coating activities.
• Conduct surface profile measurements with the press-o-film paper. Ensure surface cleanliness prior to coating application.
• Monitor and check wet film/dry film requirement as per standard. Monitor the performance of blasters and painters.
• Carried out final coating inspection and Holiday Detection (Low voltage DC wet sponge test & High voltage DC test) test where applicable.
• Monitoring, witnessing, inspection & documentation of all paints & coating activities offsite and onsite.
• Inspect coating for any paint defects for touch up repair.
• Check the daily inspection report completed by the crew superior.
• Prepare inspection report for final inspection & acceptance of owner’s representativies.
• Execute coating inspection work as per company inspection test plan.
• Grade the surface profile by using standard comparators (ISO surface profile comparators, Replica test, and Dial Gauge method.
• Prepare QC reports and job acceptance documents for project documentation
• Coordinated timely delivery of paint products required for project completion.

• Responsible for making quality determinations and discrepancies of surface preparation and coatings on tanks, vessels and piping.
• Preparation of Piping Scope, Materials take-over list as per isometric drawings.
