Experience in Conceptual, FEED, EPC and Detailed Design Offshore Platforms, Process modules for FPSO and modular structure related to Oil/Gas Piping design, Onshore facilities, Refinery, Chemical and Petrochemical plants etc. Review design drawing and engineering specifications to ensure conformance with industry standards and practices.
Responsibilities of Piping design team activities and assisting Draughtsman's, Designers and Engineers with resource scheduling and man hour reporting, preparing and checking of all Piping design deliverables such as Piping GADS, Nozzle orientations, Equipment layouts, Isometrics, Pipe support drawings, MDS Supports, Piping MTO, As-Built drawings, Tie-in schedule etc.
Interdisciplinary check of PFD, P&ID and Structural/Mechanical/Electrical/Instrumentation and HVAC drawings, review of vendor drawings for Equipment / Packages etc. Produce drawings in AutoCAD, proficient in Excel and Word, experience in PDS and model review clash checks, aware of international codes and standards for Piping design and compliance with Client Codes and standards, experience in working with multi-national and multi-cultural project teams.
Interface with clients, vendor and field contractors, Preparation of Bid package.
Performed site surveys and data gathering exercises in various locations, experience of site-based project work involving field engineering and construction, provided engineering support to the site team during design, engineering and construction with maintaining safety, operational support / construction and commissioning, eligible and willing to make occasional site visits, continually improve safety in all aspects of plant design and operation.
Ensure design conforms to project requirements and ensure technical integrity as per company's and International standard and specifications.
Attend meeting at site visit as required in connection with the project and submit reports on the current status and development of the work
Responsible for Developing study piping for packages, Piping G.A.D ,checking Piping Isometrics drawings
According to P&ID,
Responsible for Checking Piping support (MDS) in review software as per company standard
Prepared Plot plan and Piping Layout, Piping plan, section, and detailed drawings. Pipe routing using AutoCAD.
Checked piping isometrics per P&ID and specifications. Reviewed 3D models using Autodesk Navisworks Review software. Checked design model, isometrics drawings, developed piping isometric drawings of pipe rack
Diploma in Mechanical engineering from Karnataka State University
