Trainee Role

• Perform QC testing of 50+ raw material, in-process, and finished lubricant product samples per week against ASTM D445, ASTM D92, ASTM D97, and internal quality standards, achieving zero non-conformance in batch releases.
• Execute wet chemical analysis and titrations (acid value, base number, saponification value) on lubricant additives and finished oils, maintaining 100% on-time test reporting.
• Operate and maintain GC, ICP-OES, viscometer, flash & pour point apparatus, FTIR, and pH meter; perform routine calibration and instrument log maintenance in compliance with ISO 9001 and SOP requirements.
• Prepare accurate test reports and maintain laboratory documentation per GLP standards, ensuring full traceability and audit readiness; adhere to all 5S and safety protocols in a high-throughput QC environment.
• Support senior QC chemists in root cause analysis, deviation investigations, and continuous quality improvement (CQI) activities, contributing to process reliability and product consistency.
