I'm a 43 year old born and raised in Tamilnadu. I did my Computer science & Engineering degree, in the prestigious College of Engineering, Guindy. Since 2001 I have been working in the software field.

I take pride in the fact that I'm a Motivator and builder of self-directing, self-sustaining teams, Developer of talent, builder of bench strength and groomer of successors for key team positions. I have always went above and beyond whenever an opportunity showed itself at my work place to groom young minds and motivate them to be the best Professional they can be. I love to innovate and look for ways to automate mundane work if it brings in efficiency.

I love problem solving. Thinking long term is my second nature when it comes to solving problems. I believe in diversity and inclusion at work place. I'm a constant learner. I recently got myself nonodegree certified in Python Full stack web development.

I work well in pressure situations and given my SME status in the current application platform I had taken up the stretched role of Production support as well when situation demanded.

I have hands-on experience working in Mainframe projects in a career spanning 20 yrs. I started by career in Mainframe as a MVS Assembler developer and have ever since have keep that skill alive by working with some really old legacy core banking applications over the course of my career . Have reverse engineered old legacy MVS assembler programs to help with legacy modernization.

Have also worked extensively in COBOL/JCL/DB2/CICS/REXX. I recently got myself certified at Udacity Nanodegree as a Python Full stack Web developer in the spirit of keeping myself upto date with emerging technological trends. I'm innovative, a critical thinker, quick learner, good at shaping young minds.
