PhD Thesis Title : Linearization Of MMIC Power amplifiers The PhD thesis work involved the Design of a new Linearization technique for MMIC Power amplifier which works in multimode /multiband communication for PCS/W-CDMA systems using Advanced Design systems software (ADS). The power amplifier was designed with linearization technique which reduces the harmonic distortion, improves the gain, linearity and power added efficiency. The new amplifier linearization technique improves the input 1-dB gain compression point, phase distortion at the output power, and ACPR for the PCS / (W-CDMA) band.
More importantly without almost any increase in chip size.
