Trail Production - Hiiker

I have been assisting in the trails production and maps for Hiiker. Hiiker is a start-up empowering people to explore hiking trails on foot. I originally began creating the maps after an initial training period where I learned how to work on GPX and KML files along with planning and navigation tools like QGIS across our website and app so that we can create safe routes for our community to go on hiking more often.

As a trek leader I had to through a vigorous process to learn outdoor skills, wilderness first aid training, leadership abilities, and knowledge of the terrain that I will be guiding through, I lead groups on numerous Himalayan treks, prioritizing safety and sustainability while facilitating transformative experiences for participants.
