I am currently working as a Senior Research Fellow at ICMR-NIRRCH, Mumbai. Academically, I am a Microbiology major and an alumna of Savitribai Phule Pune University.
Apart from being deeply passionate about science and research, I am also a creative writing and fitness enthusiast.
Our research group focuses on studying Damage Associated Molecular Patterns (DAMPs) such as HMGB1 and S100A8 and how they modulate the immune responses in the uterus, and eventually, implantation and pregnancy, in rat and human cohorts.
I am skilled in areas of molecular biology and biotechnology. To name a few, I am well trained at flow cytometry, mammalian cell culture, immunofluorescence, ELISA, qPCR and western blotting.
I have a master's and a bachelor's in Microbiology.
