I'm Shivani Singh, a B.Com and B.Ed graduate with a deep passion for data analytics. As a Data Analyst Intern at Labmentix, I worked with over 17,000 bird observation records, using Python libraries like Pandas and NumPy to clean and transform the data. I engineered features such as Month, Hour, and Temperature Bins to uncover behavioral and seasonal patterns. To visualize these insights, I created more than 15 interactive charts using Matplotlib and Plotly Express.
I also built and deployed three Power BI dashboards, incorporating DAX measures and KPI cards to analyze species diversity and habitat trends. One of my key contributions was consolidating multi-sheet Excel datasets using openpyxl, which helped identify species hotspots and environmental risks. This experience sharpened my skills in data storytelling and dashboard design while deepening my understanding of ecological data.
