Associate Engineer / Production Supervisor - Epiroc Mining India Limited - India

Epiroc AB is a Swedish manufacturer of mining and infrastructure equipment. It is headquartered in Stockholm, Sweden. Epiroc has its roots in Atlas Copco, which was founded in 1873 in Stockholm. It was created as a result of Atlas Copco's decision to split out its legacy business of mining equipment.

Epiroc offers a product of Rock Drilling Tools, Trucks & Loaders, Rock Excavation Equipment, Rock Reinforcement Tools & Underground Mine Ventilation System and service agreements related to equipment maintenance.

• Production shop and warehouse planning – Leading & supervising, production and warehouse team of 30 persons. Scheduling shifts and managing labour deployment.
• Efficiency and process optimization – Identification of bottlenecks and implementation of process improvements. Driving Lean Manufacturing, 5'S, Kaizen, Assembly & testing process SOP development
• Quality assurance - Ensuring adherence to quality standards and specifications. Promoting zero-defect culture on the shop floor
• Reporting and documentation - Maintaining daily production & inventory report, deviation logs, and downtime analysis. Ensuring compliance with statutory and internal documentation requirements.
• Inventory & Material Management - Coordination with the supply chain team for timely material availability. Minimizing inventory carrying costs without disrupting production
• Develop, communicate and implement the build/assembly plan for weekly/monthly targets.
• Ensure products/components meet design drawings, BOM (bill of materials), work instructions, and quality standards as specified.
• Monitor production metrics: output, first pass yield (FPY), defects per unit (DPU), overall equipment effectiveness (OEE) where applicable. Take corrective actions when targets are not met.
• Enforce and promote safe working environment, compliance with health, safety & environment safety standards, housekeeping (5S) and manufacturing discipline.
• Report Unsafe Act and Unsafe Condition in daily Basis with its corrective actions.
