Shruti Sanawar

My work focuses on experimenting with surface embellishments, stitches, and textures to produce textile designs that are both aesthetically pleasing and relevant to the market. In order to ensure that creativity is in line with functionality and brand identity, I have worked with artisans and production teams to translate design concepts into fine embroidered textiles. I also made a short documentary- Vanhbheru- A Boat Companion that was screened at International Gordion Archeofilm Festival, 2025, Ankara, Turkey.

This documentary is about the boat making process from wood to fiber boats from traditional to today's time.
