I have gained practical experience through internships in clinical, hospital, and mental health settings. During my internships at Muskaan Wellness Center, Polaris Hospital, and Dr.
College & Hospital, I observed psychological assessments, counselling sessions, psychiatric evaluations, and multidisciplinary case discussions. I gained hands-on experience in case history taking, Mental Status Examination (MSE) preparation, clinical documentation, and ethical practice, while developing strong communication, interpersonal, and observational skills. I also gained exposure to therapeutic approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Motivational Interviewing (MI), and conducted career profiling for Class 10 students under supervision.
In addition to my clinical experience, I have worked on experimental research, strengthening my skills in literature review, data collection, statistical analysis, and interpretation of findings. I have also actively participated in mental health awareness programmes, student initiatives, and community outreach activities, which have enhanced my leadership, teamwork, and organisational abilities.
