Worked as a main Primary Teacher for three years, during this tenure I gathered vast experience teaching mathematical concepts to enthusiastic students from Grade 2 to 5. The teaching years involved developing classroom activities and materials, assigning homework, grading tests and preparing the students for the exams. The IGCSE curriculum afforded me to teach multiple topics and concepts using stimulating activities to enhance their understanding and making it fun in the process too.

• Taught equivalent fractions using a fraction wall
• Roman numbers were made interesting with activities using match sticks
• Skits were used to teach addition and subtraction concepts, thereby making it interactive and exciting for the students
• Mental math was taught using flash cards, which made calculation easy and quick
